We begin by identifying the project’s leadership and decision-making structure, including clearly defined project goals, guiding principles, and organizational stakeholders. We then develop a digital roadmap that aligns information management and administrative goals with business goals and priorities, providing the strategic framework for prioritizing projects, making decisions, and allocating resources. We then identify interoperable technologies that enable information to flow seamlessly and securely to when, where, and how users need it. Finally, we focus on workflow improvements and optimization, diagnose barriers, and propose strategies to enhance operational efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and identify cost savings. These are summarized in our deliverables, including an innovation execution plan, equipment location matrix, use case narratives, and schedule of values. Through these steps, we are able to translate and articulate the innovation ideas into reality through collaboration with the dreamers, end users, leadership, and the design and construction team. We orchestrate this multidisciplinary process to create a successful “hospital of the future”.
