The City of Clarksville desired to improve the intersection of Trenton Road and Needmore Road by widening SR-48 (Trenton Road) and Needmore Road to provide additional turning lanes at the intersection. This project required utility relocation, which was identified by the SSR team. The SSR team also provided coordination with individual utility companies to relocate. Corresponding signal modifications were made to accommodate the additional lanes. Signal timing was recommended and implemented based on peak hour traffic counts provided by the City of Clarksville. Plans for this project were done in accordance with TDOT standards. We developed construction drawings, bid books, right of way plans, property descriptions, and specifications. The SSR team was also present for inspection and response to questions during construction.
