The Gulf Coast Medical Center Expansion with Lee Health was an acute care expansion of an existing facility. The three-story project included 367,500 SF or new space and renovated 57,000 SF to add 268 new beds. The expansion brings the hospital facility to just under 1 million SF. Also included were a 64,000 SF ancillary building, CEP expansion, and parking garage. SSR provided commissioning services for the mechanical, electrical, and security systems, as well as building envelope commissioning services.
