SSR provided comprehensive medical technology planning and design services, medical equipment planning, and clinical consulting for the 608,000 SF expansion of the Medical Pavilion at the Duke University Medical Center. The project consisted of a nine-story, 160-bed acute care facility that includes a new intensive care space, 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms, and enhanced patient amenities.

SSR provided comprehensive technology systems planning including structured cabling, nurse call/code blue, television distribution systems, closed circuit and interactive video systems, telephony, VoIP infrastructure expansion, WAN infrastructure, GPS wireless clock distribution, and physicians dictation.
