The City of Countryside has embarked on a progressive project – creating a New City Hall & Police Headquarters to achieve Net Zero energy use.

The facility will house comprehensive police department operations, all city departments, necessary support space and shared building use.

SSR was sought by the project team as a result of our experience in energy efficiency and commissioning services. Our team is providing an encompassing sustainability service through building enclosure, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and security commissioning. Our service included Net Zero consulting; providing valuable revisions and lessons learned to the theoretical energy model, conducting cross-discipline design reviews, obtaining energy incentives, and performing monitoring based commissioning. In addition to building enclosure commissioning our service includes specifying an enclosure mockup, mockup testing and full enclosure testing.

The project designs and commissioning scope also includes a photovolataic system, capable of 225 KW.
