Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR), a leader among engineering firms in designing, consulting, and commissioning projects, is pleased to announce that Jeff Swayze has been promoted to Principal, Senior Director of Digital Strategies and Solutions. This is a new position for the firm and an extension of SSR’s strategic plan.   

As Senior Director of Digital Strategies and Solutions, Jeff is responsible for the strategic development and execution of projects involving operational data and the implementation of technology solutions within SSR. He will oversee the advancement of how SSR captures and utilizes information and data, as well as guide the integration of new tools and services to enhance efficiency and project delivery. In this broader leadership role, Jeff will be working with business unit and operation leaders to understand what technologies are being used in different areas of the firm and identify how these can be leveraged across the organization to improve services and processes.

Jeff is a 20-year veteran of SSR, having previously served as the firm’s Director of Information Technology where he oversaw the firm’s IT and BIM departments. He has built strong internal relationships, collaborating across the firm to identify opportunities for technological enhancements and streamlined processes. Jeff actively engages in the broader technology and engineering community, contributing to industry publications, speaking at conferences, and participating in professional associations to share insights on technological advancements in engineering and design.
