Healthcare lighting systems are constantly changing and evolving with new technology. When designing a new lighting system, there are many factors to consider: daylighting, light controls, light levels, safety, and color. This presentation will focus on recent research and trends in the healthcare lighting industry related to these factors. It will provide examples of how to best implement the findings in order to provide the most ergonomic design for a healthcare facility.
