Kevin Wolfford, CPD, Regional Operations Director will be attending the COAA Winter Workshop, taking place February 12-13 in Austin, TX. With a networking reception and a full day of sessions, including sessions on changes to the healthcare construction industry and delivering a successful project while maintaining a strict budget, as well as an in-depth discussion on project collaboration.
Steve Harrel, CEM, CxA, and Rusty Ross, PE, LEED AP BD+C, CxA, will be presenting at the Florida Healthcare Enginnering Association’s District III meeting on February 13. Their educational program will cover how Continuous Commissioning® saves money and greatly reduces energy costs.
Kenny Diehl, PE, and Mike Bernard, PE, ENV SP, will be attending the AWWA Utility Management Conference in Austin, TX, February 17-20. The Utility Management Conference is one of the most informative and prestigious management conferences available. Attendees should come prepared to share experiences and learn from others in similar situations as they respond to the most pressing management issues of the day.
Ted Foster, PE, CxA, CxA+BE, will be attending the SAME Post Leaders Workshop in Phoenix, AZ February 19-21. The workshop is organized by the SAME Executive Director and HQ staff to provide Post Leaders with the information on best practices and the SAME Strategic Plan and Goals. Attendees will have the opportunity to share ideas for achieving the goals set forth in the SAME Strategic Plan. Foster recently took over as the Programs Chair for the Huntsville SAME Post.
David Stymiest, PE, CHFM, CHSP, FASHE, Senior Consultant, will be speaking at a full day training seminar for numerous Jacksonville, FL area hospitals on February 25. His session will focus on Alternate Equipment Management (AEM).
David Stymiest will also be speaking at the Louisiana Society of Healthcare Facilities Management (LASHFM) meeting in New Orleans, LA on February 27. Stymiest will be speaking on two topics: CMS/TJC Alternate Equipment Maintenance (AEM) Requirements and Preparing for Hospital Water Disruptions.
