Matt Palazzetti Joins Firm as Senior Mechanical Engineer in Fort Worth

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR), a leader among engineering firms in designing, consulting, and planning projects, is pleased to announce that Matt Palazzetti, PE, has joined the firm as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Fort Worth office. He will be responsible for leading mechanical and plumbing design on projects for Cook Children’s Medical Center and contribute to other healthcare projects around the DFW metroplex. 

 “We are excited for Matt to join our Fort Worth team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer,” stated Michael Elliott, PE, CEM, CxA,  Principal. “His technical leadership will make an immediate impact on our clients, projects, and colleagues.”   

 Matt brings nearly four decades of design experience in the healthcare industry. He has designed mechanical systems for over three million SF of healthcare space in his career and has extensive experience with smoke removal design and steam plants.   

 “Throughout my career, SSR has been a leading MEP design firm in the DFW area and the trusted advisor to several area hospitals,” said Palazzetti. “I jumped at the opportunity to join the firm, already having familiarity with the people, culture, and work. I am excited to do my part to produce quality designs and continue the SSR legacy of being a trusted advisor to our clients.” 

 Matt graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is a registered mechanical engineer in Texas, New Mexico, and Mississippi and an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
